Fidelity Investments Inc. is seeking a Business/Systems Analyst to join the Enterprise HR Tools & Platforms team.

You will support a suite of internal HR data, analytics, planning and compensation platforms, translating complex requirements into clear specifications and user stories. Work with HR, Compensation, Engineering and business stakeholders to deliver enhancements, provide platform support and drive adoption and roadmap execution.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years Business Analyst and 2+ years Systems Analyst experience.
• Experience with requirements gathering, documentation and solution design.
• Experience with test planning, UAT execution and defect management.
• Strong analytical and data accuracy focus.
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication.
• Experience writing SQL queries, data analysis, and validating large datasets.
• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, pivot tables).
• Elicitation, documentation and user story writing capabilities.
• Translate business processes into system functionality and scalable workflows.
• Root cause analysis and sustainable solution development.
• Ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Understand platform dependencies and downstream impacts across systems.
• Proactive, continuously improving mindset and UX enhancement.
• Stakeholder management and cross-team collaboration.
• Provide technical guidance and facilitate solution discussions.
• Experience with compensation planning processes and HR platform integrations (nice to have).
• Experience with data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI (nice to have).
• Understanding of SDLC and data security best practices (nice to have).
• Experience in platform operating model or multi-squad environments (nice to have).
• Experience supporting enterprise HR cloud-based technologies (nice to have).

Job Description:

The Role

You will be a key player on the Enterprise HR Tools & Platforms team, supporting a suite of Fidelity's internal HR data, analytics, planning, and compensation platforms.

As part of a team focused on enhancing the digital experience for HR, Compensation, and business users, you will help drive efficiency, modernization, and transformation through technology. You will collaborate with business and technology partners to solve issues, deliver enhancements, provide ongoing platform support, and contribute to the future roadmap of enterprise HR platforms.

Working closely with HR, Compensation, Engineering, Design, and business stakeholders, you will translate complex requirements into clear functional specifications, user stories, solution designs, and testing strategies while ensuring successful implementation and adoption of platform capabilities

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 3+ years of Business Analyst and/or 2+ years of Systems Analyst experience
• Experience with requirements gathering, documentation, and solution design
• Experience with test planning, UAT execution, and defect management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail and data accuracy
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Experience writing SQL queries, performing data analysis, and validating large datasets
• Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, comparison formulas, and pivot tables
• Strong requirements elicitation, documentation, and user story writing capabilities
• Ability to interpret business processes and translate them into system functionality, configurations, and scalable workflows
• Strong analytical thinking with the ability to conduct root cause analysis and develop sustainable solutions
• Ability to break down complex concepts into smaller components and communicate them effectively to technical and non-technical audiences
• Ability to understand platform dependencies and anticipate downstream impacts across systems and processes
• Comfortable asking questions, challenging assumptions, and connecting data, process, policy, and technology to drive effective solutions
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build trusted partnerships across business and technology teams
• Ability to provide technical guidance to team members and facilitate solution discussions, workshops, and internal meetings
• Proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement, process optimization, and user experience enhancement

Nice to haves:

• Experience with compensation planning processes, including merit, bonus, eligibility, and budget planning
• Experience with HR platform integrations, data mappings, and security models

• Experience with data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI, or similar platforms.

• Understanding Software development Life cycle and best practices.

• Understanding of data governance principles and HR data security best practices

• Experience working in a platform operating model or multi-squad environment

Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
