Job summary

Gainwell Technologies is seeking a Senior Business Analyst - BPM/Training - LMS to design and deliver high-quality process models, training content, and readiness materials for enterprise solutions. You will work with stakeholders, project teams, and clients to map current and future processes and translate them into actionable documentation and enablement resources.

The role requires strong facilitation, analytical skills, and the ability to work independently on complex assignments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years of experience in business analysis, process modeling, operational readiness, training development, or related disciplines.
  • Experience developing process models, SOPs, training materials, and other enablement deliverables.
  • Ability to facilitate discussions with stakeholders, clients, and technical teams to gather and document processes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and validate current and future-state business process models, workflows, and training materials.
  • Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to gather requirements and document processes.

Summary

The Senior Business Analyst - BPM /Training - LMS at Gainwell, is a senior individual contributor responsible for developing high-quality business process models, role-based training content, process documentation, and readiness materials that support successful enterprise solution implementations. This role partners with business stakeholders, project teams, product teams, and clients to understand current-state and future-state processes, document business workflows, translate process detail into training and enablement materials, and support alignment between business needs, solution design, and operational readiness. The position requires strong facilitation, analytical, documentation, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently on complex assignments and contribute to standards, templates, and reusable assets without direct people-management responsibility.

Your role in our mission
  • Develop, maintain, and validate current and future-state business process models, workflows, process documentation, and supporting materials.
  • Facilitate workshops and working sessions with stakeholders, subject matter experts, product teams, and project teams to gather requirements, document business processes, and assess operational impacts.
  • Analyze process gaps, dependencies, risks, data touchpoints, and downstream impacts, recommending improvements to support efficient operations and successful implementations.
  • Review system data, SQL-based extracts, database relationships, and business scenarios to support process validation and operational readiness.
  • Ensure process documentation, training content, and readiness materials align with approved requirements and solution design.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support implementation planning, stakeholder engagement, communications, user readiness, and adoption of new processes.
  • Manage assigned work independently, communicate project status and risks, and deliver quality outcomes within established timelines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned in support of business and operational objectives.
Process Improvement, Training & Operational Readiness
  • Translate business processes, requirements, system functionality, and operational procedures into effective training and readiness materials.
  • Develop and maintain job aids, training guides, process maps, workflow documentation, standard operating procedures, and other enablement resources.
  • Document role-based workflows, user access considerations, security impacts, and training requirements for various user groups.
  • Review deliverables for clarity, consistency, traceability, accuracy, and compliance with documentation and training standards.
  • Contribute to templates, standards, reusable assets, lessons learned, and knowledge management repositories.
  • Provide guidance, peer review, and knowledge sharing to support less experienced analysts, modelers, and training resources.
What we're looking for
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 6+ years of experience in business analysis, business process modeling, operational readiness, training development, system implementation, or related disciplines.
  • Experience developing process models, workflow documentation, SOPs, training materials, job aids, and other business enablement deliverables.
  • Proven ability to facilitate discussions with business stakeholders, subject matter experts, clients, and technical teams to gather, validate, and document business processes and requirements.
  • Ability to translate business requirements, system functionality, and operational procedures into clear, actionable documentation and training content.
  • Working knowledge of healthcare, Medicaid, public-sector operations, or similar enterprise environments preferred.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities, meeting deadlines, and delivering high-quality work independently.
Technical Knowledge
  • Understanding of business process analysis, workflow design, and process improvement methodologies.
  • Working knowledge of relational databases, data structures, data relationships, and system data
  • Basic to intermediate SQL skills, including data validation, query interpretation, and analysis of business process impacts.
  • Familiarity with user access, security roles, permissions, and the effect of access controls on business processes and training.

The pay range for this position is $69,400 - $99,200per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
