Job summary

Ariel Partners is seeking qualified candidates to design, architect, and develop database-driven applications to meet ITS and DSS program needs. The role focuses on building reliable, secure data systems, while aligning with business needs and long-range requirements.

You will work with stakeholders, designers, other developers, and engineers to implement base definitions, structures, and operational guidelines, delivering on-time applications built to specifications.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 6 years of experience with Angular 8, ASP.NET Core, C#, EF Core, and MS SQL.
• NET and Angular experience using SOLID design principles.
• AngularJS, Angular 8, TypeScript, React, and/or other component architecture experience.
• AWS and DevOps tool suite like Octopus and Jenkins.
• Atlassian JIRA.

Job description

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

ITS serves all DSS program areas to fulfill their IT needs. To meet the business needs and ITS' workload, ITS is seeking qualified candidates in the areas of Database design, architecture, and development, including base definition, structure, documentation, long-range requirements, operational guidelines, and protection. Ensures accuracy and completeness of data in master files and various support tools, such as base dictionaries. Establishes and maintains security and integrity controls. Formulates and monitors policies, procedures and standards relating to database management. Proposes and implements enhancements that will improve the performance and reliability of various systems that ITS supports across DSS program areas.

Tasks & Duties

• Develop .NET and .NET core applications. Provide management reporting and information dissemination
• Identify user stories and translate them into technical requirements as required.
• Develop user stories and break down requirements into deliverable functionality.
• Review the requirements with the stakeholders for their approval.
• Analyze and document current systems and processes as currently implemented.
• Make recommendations for improvements based on client feedback.
• Work directly with business stakeholders, clients, designers, other developers, and engineers to coordinate the building of applications to specifications and on time.

MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

• A minimum of 6 years of experience with the following skill sets:
• Angular 8, ASP.NET core, C#, Entity Framework Core, and MS SQL projects
• NET and Angular experience using SOLID design principles.
• Angular JS, Angular 8, TypeScript, React, and/or other component architecture experience.
• AWS and Devops tool suite like Octopus and Jenkins
• Atlassian JIRA.
