Job summary

OneBlood is seeking a skilled Business Analyst to translate user needs into process improvements and technology solutions. You will define scope, conduct needs analysis, and assess risks to align with business strategies and boost operational effectiveness.

The role requires seven years of experience in development, implementation, and systems integration, with a strong ability to document requirements and facilitate stakeholder discussions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems or related field from an accredited college or university; supplemented by seven (7) years of experience in the areas of development, implementation, systems integration and technical business analysis or an equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience.
• IIBA certification or Six Sigma certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Creates and maintains schedules for complex projects by developing project plans and specifications, estimating time requirements, establishing deadlines, ensuring milestone completion, and tracking and reporting on all phases of the project product/service lifecycle.
• Analyzes all business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment and serves as liaison between customers and development teams during the initial phase of projects.
• Gathers, documents, and analyzes application requirements, conducts application analysis, and participates in functional application design to meet the needs of the business.
• Facilitate meetings with internal subject matter experts and external business partners/vendors.
• Creates detailed technical specifications, process models, data mappings and data models for development of new or modifications to existing products.
• Acts as a mentor to analyst team members to ensure quality standards are met.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degrees in Business Administration, Information Systems or related field from an accredited college or university; supplemented by seven (7) years of experience in the areas of development, implementation, systems integration and technical business analysis or an equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND DESIGNATIONS

International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) certification or Six Sigma certification preferred.
