Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years of progressively responsible janitorial or custodial work and/or grounds maintenance experience.
• At least one year of experience comparable to Building and Grounds Custodian II in State service.
• Applicants must demonstrate supervisory aptitude.
• Must possess a valid driver's license at the time of appointment.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and participates in routine manual work tasks in cleaning and maintaining buildings, surrounding grounds and walkways; and simple building maintenance and repair work.
• Performs related tasks as required to ensure cleanliness and safety on State/University facilities.
