Job summary

NOVA Engineering and Environmental, LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Building Enclosure Consultant / Designer to support our Central Florida operations, ideally based in the Tampa metro area. The role emphasizes building enclosure systems, roofing, and waterproofing across commercial, educational, healthcare, and industrial facilities.

Responsibilities include leading peer reviews, remedial design, and field testing per ASTM/AAMA standards, while mentoring staff and coordinating with clients

Qualifications

10+ years in building enclosure, roofing, waterproofing, or related consulting.
Strong detailing and repair/rehabilitation capabilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication with technical reports.

Responsibilities

Lead peer reviews of drawings, specs, and submittals focusing on enclosures.
Develop remedial and retrofit design solutions for roofs and façades.
Provide design support for new construction and renovations with specs and details.
Perform enclosure assessments, moisture investigations, and condition assessments.
