Job summary

Sevita in Minnesota is seeking a Senior Build Engineer to modernize and maintain our build and deployment infrastructure across a diverse technology stack. This role is instrumental in transforming our CI/CD processes and establishing best practices that enable our development teams to deliver high-quality software efficiently.

You will design scalable pipelines across Salesforce, AWS, Azure, and VS Code tooling, while optimizing build automation and security.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field.
5+ years of experience in build engineering, DevOps, or related roles.
Proven track record of modernizing legacy build systems.
Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
Strong collaboration with development and operations teams.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Documentation and technical writing abilities.
Problem-solving mindset and independent work ability.
Commitment to code quality and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

Modernize and optimize Jenkins-based build and deployment systems.
Design and implement scalable CI/CD pipelines across multiple platforms.
Maintain and enhance build automation to improve reliability and reduce deployment times.
Manage Bitbucket repositories and branching strategies.
Configure and maintain VS Code build tooling for development teams.
Deployments and releases coordination with cross-functional teams.
Monitor build system performance and address issues.
Implement security best practices across pipelines.
Create and update documentation of build systems and processes.
Provide guidance to developers on build-related issues.
