Job summary

Civicworks in New York State is seeking a Senior Budgeting Analyst to manage financial operations for the NY State Police Division, including Federal grant awards, expenditure monitoring, accounts receivable, travel and fuel card programs, and budget preparation.

The role reports to the Associate Chief Budgeting Analyst and ensures compliance with Federal guidelines and State Finance Law while supporting agency financial management and fiscal reporting requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree OR one year permanent service in SG-14+ with Finance, Purchasing or Accounting responsibilities.
• Associate's degree and two years' experience in related field OR two years' post-secondary education and two years' related experience.
• Experience with Federal grant management and compliance.
• Proficiency with spreadsheet tracking and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of budget preparation and State Finance Law.
