Job summary

Assertive Professionals is seeking a Senior Budget Analyst to support the DoD/DoW program at Quantico, VA. This onsite role requires extensive budgeting and financial analysis experience to manage spend plans, forecasting, and financial reporting.

The ideal candidate will have a BS in finance or related field (or equivalent experience), be proficient with DoD regulations, and possess strong technical writing and program management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business or related field or 8+ years of relevant financial analysis experience.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in budgeting or financial analysis.
• Strong written and verbal communication and ability to present financial information clearly.
• Knowledge of FAR/DFARS/CAS and DoD/DoW policies and related regulations.

Responsibilities

• Support budget and financial management activities for the DoD/DoW customer.
• Develop spend plans, forecasts, and budgets; perform variance analysis.
• Prepare financial reports, metrics, and data visualizations; support year-end closeout.
• Reconcile financial data across ABM Tool, DAI, SharePoint and ServiceNow; track budget adjustments.
