Job summary

The Walt Disney Company in Burbank, CA invites applications for a Sr Business System Analyst within the Enterprise Technology group. This role focuses on supporting Finance platforms and services, driving end-to-end technology solutions that align with architecture standards.

You will translate business needs, document requirements, participate in design sessions, and collaborate with delivery teams to ensure successful project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of ERP experience with 3 years in finance systems
• Proven track record in large-scale finance value chain software projects
• Experience with finance processes and software
• Experience with Business Architecture practices and methodologies
• Experience in matrixed project teams including architects, developers, operations, PMs, and vendors
• Experience with agile software development and full SDLC
• Prior experience in a Media environment is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Translate business needs to product solutions for project delivery
• Document and align business requirements with stakeholders
• Participate in functional and technical design sessions
• Collaborate with business and tech teams to build business models
• Create documentation (requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, design docs, flows)
• Participate in agile ceremonies (scrum, sprint planning, demos)
• Provide documentation to ensure built aligns with requirements
• Support traceability of requirements through specs and test cases
• Work with business to confirm test scenarios and validate design
• Support ownership of process flows within the business
• Execute testing including creating and reviewing test scripts and results
• Contribute to RAID logs with risks, actions, issues, and decisions
• Collaborate with partners across the organization (business, architects, delivery managers)
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the enterprise
