Job summary

HNTB seeks an experienced CEI Senior Bridge Inspector for current and future FDOT construction work in Central Florida. Based in Celebration, FL, you will oversee substructure and superstructure inspections, concrete inspection, drilled shaft and pile driving activities.

The role supports growing our local CEI inspection team and delivering complex infrastructure projects. You will perform on-site inspections, document progress, conduct tests, and maintain daily activity reports.

Qualifications

• Reading and understanding construction plans and specifications.
• Ability to work with others, take direction, and communicate verbally and in writing.
• Willingness to learn and also train others.

Responsibilities

• Inspects, observes, documents, and verifies work in progress to ensure compliance with schedule and plans.
• Performs engineering inspection calculations and measurements of completed work.
• Maintains daily reports of activities, labor, equipment, and materials.
• Performs on-site material testing and prepares as-constructed sketches.
