Qualifications

• Bachelor level civil/structural background required.
• Professional certification in training pathway (EIT/FE) within 18 months.
• Minimum 5 years of related bridge/structural experience.
• Equivalent experience may substitute for a degree.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of models, drawings, and specs for projects.
• Ensure designs comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines on designs.
• Follow firm policies on all designs.
• Perform structural condition assessments and confined space entries.
• Develop white papers and technical docs to showcase expertise.
• Publish papers and designs in journals to advance knowledge.
• Collaborate with sales to prepare proposals and respond to RFPs.
• Review proposals for regulatory compliance and best practices.
• Engage with clients to identify design needs and opportunities.
• Attend conferences and industry events to raise visibility.
• Support sales staff in promoting structural engineering services.
• Provide mentorship to junior staff and supervise engineers.
