Description
Unmatched Comp Time Policy: Hours worked over 40 in a week can be reimbursed as additional pay at an equivalent hourly rate or banked as additional PTO.

Responsibilities
- Design, evaluate, and analyze highway bridges
- Prepare designs, quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and specifications
- Work in cooperation with bridge staff to deliver PS&E contract documents on time and within the project budget for local agencies, federal agencies, and state DOTs
- Perform bridge designs and load ratings using spreadsheets, finite element software and/or other bridge software
- Experience with the design of multiple bridge types in concrete and steel, wall systems, and minor structures
- Establish and maintain client relationships; ensure client satisfaction; ensure client objectives are met
- Experience with AASHTO LRFD, AISC, ACI, and other North American design codes
- Strong people skills and an ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment
- Assist in building a strong regional presence for the firm in transportation and structural engineering
- Structures lead for projects, coordinating staff and design efforts
Qualifications
- B.S. degree in Civil Engineering, Masters a plus
- Registered PE, SE required
- 12+ years experienceWillingness to work on projects locally or in workshare with other offices, some travel required—<10%
- Experience working in bridge design team
- Design Build and Alternative Delivery experience a plus
- Established relationships with local clients (WSDOT/ITD) a plus
- Solid understanding of transportation projects
