Job summary

The Standard is seeking a Senior Writer and Editor on the Brand Strategy & Creative Strategy team to lead writing and brand stewardship for enterprise campaigns, thought leadership, and video scripts.

You'll mentor peers, shape on-brand messaging across channels, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to deliver compelling content that boosts brand awareness and affinity. Onsite in Portland, OR, with occasional video shoots and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in English, writing, or communications.
• 8+ years of brand writing experience; 10 years in financial services preferred.
• Excellent writing and editing with AP style mastery.

Responsibilities

• Elevate brand voice across channels and formats.
• Develop concepts and copy for enterprise campaigns and sponsorships.
• Lead cross-functional teams and mentor colleagues.
• May serve as video producer for select assignments.
• Regular presenter at Creative Center of Excellence.
