Job summary

Kimberly-Clark is seeking a Senior Brand Manager for Brand Growth & Innovation to lead NA initiatives for the Huggies Baby Wipes portfolio. You will drive a consumer-driven innovation pipeline, co-create a 3–5 year strategic plan, and influence cross-functional partners in a matrix setup to deliver sustainable growth.

You will lead brand tools development, coordinate with Global teams, and manage P&L, pricing, and distribution strategies while traveling up to 20% of time.

Qualifications

  • ;Bachelor’s degree in business/marketing is required.
  • +At least 10 years’ marketing experience with brand management in B2B/CPG.
  • +Experience in P&L management and cross-functional collaboration across manufacturing, product development and sales.
  • +Strong understanding of brand foundations, consumer insights, segmentation and targeting.
  • +Experience in brand positioning and strategy development.
  • +Proven ability to lead in a matrix organization and manage agency partners.
  • +Willingness to travel 10–20% of time.

Responsibilities

  • Drive innovation and brand-building initiatives across North America for Huggies Baby Wipes portfolio.

  • Craft foundational brand tools such as Brand Architecture and Brand Segmentation.

  • Deliver business objectives including net sales, profit, gross margin and market share.
  • Understand DPSM dynamics to optimize distribution, pricing and merchandising.
  • Lead in-brand initiatives across categories and manage 3rd party agencies.

The Senior Brand Manager, Brand Growth & Innovation will lead innovation and brand building initiatives across North America for the Huggies® Baby Wipes portfolio. This role will lead development of the 3-5 year strategic innovation plan. In this role you will manage the work of Brand Growth & Innovation Brand Manager while also leading and influencing cross-functional partners in a matrix organization.

In this role, you will:

  • Drive the delivery of a validated, consumer-driven innovation pipeline to the brand team to bring to market
  • Co-lead development of the Strategic Business Plan, guiding brand priorities over the three-year horizon
  • Development of the innovation roadmap for Baby Wipes to deliver against consumer expectations, long-term corporate commitments, and evolving regulatory environment
  • Creation and refinement of foundational brand tools, including Brand Architecture, Brand Segmentation and Demand Spaces
  • Coordination of Huggies North America Baby Wipes brand strategies and priorities with adjacent categories
  • Collaboration with Global to drive scale and consistency of front end innovation development
  • Inform the long-term capabilities needed to continue to expand share leadership on the category, grounded in consumer needs
  • Delivery of business objectives for a brand including net sales, operating profit, gross margin, and market share including knowledge of full P&L levers
  • Understanding of distribution, pricing, shelving and merchandising (DPSM) to deliver best in class execution and growth with a focus on specific channel and customer dynamics
  • Business model innovation including (but not limited to) import/export of winning innovation from total enterprise, agile concept and prototyping approaches and resources, and digital test market leadership through established ecommerce channels

  • Bachelors Degree in business/marketing. Masters/ MBA with concentration in Marketing degree preferred.
  • At least 10 yrs. experience in marketing with brand management (B2B - CPG companies) and experience in the following areas:
  • P&L management; development and execution of brand marketing; cross- functional knowledge; direct experience in all various aspects of business including manufacturing, product & technology development and product supply.
  • Strong understanding of brand foundational tools, consumer insight identification, segmentation and target development.
  • Experience with brand positioning and brand strategy development.
  • Concept & Brief writing of both product innovation and renovation and commercial news.
  • Proven capability to lead in a matrix organization driving collaboration across businesses and functions.
  • Demonstrated capability in leading agency partners in long-term projects.
  • Travel 10-20% of the work time.

Salary Range: 173,400 – 214,200 USD

At Kimberly-Clark, pay is just one aspect of our total rewards package, which also includes a variety of benefits and opportunities to achieve, thrive and grow. Along with base pay, this position offers eligibility for a target bonus and a comprehensive benefits suite, including our 401(k) and Profit Sharing plan. The anticipated base pay range for this role is provided above for a fully qualified hire. Actual pay will depend on several factors, such as location, role, skills, performance, and experience. Please note that the stated pay range applies to US locations only.
