Job summary

EdFed is seeking a Branch Security Officer to protect multiple locations across the United States. You will lead shift scheduling, monitor alarms, manage access, and coordinate replacement officers while ensuring compliance with security procedures.

The role requires armed security experience, valid Florida licenses (D and G), and a commitment to integrity, judgment and professional conduct. You will respond to incidents and assist management with after-hours operations and visitor control.

Qualifications

• 2 years armed security experience required.
• Florida Security Officer License 'D' required or preferred.
• Florida Statewide Firearms License 'G' required or preferred.
• Proven ability to follow complex instructions and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Create and administer shift schedules for the security team.
• Coordinate replacement officers for callouts and openings.
• Train new hires on safety, security and robbery procedures.
• Monitor alarms, cameras and patrol the branch daily.
• Open, close and secure branches during opening/closing hours.
• Respond to alarms and incidents while maintaining composure.
• Escort visitors and manage access to sensitive areas.
