Job summary

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) invites qualified reemployed annuitants to apply for a Border Patrol Agent position at GS-13 level.

This TERM appointment may be not-to-exceed 1/20/2029 and includes potential salary offset considerations and expedited pre-employment processing. Duties focus on enforcing immigration and customs laws, patrolling borders by land, water, or air, and coordinating with federal and local partners to protect national security and public safety.

Qualifications

• Specialized experience in law enforcement or related duties demonstrating ability to arrest and exercise sound judgment.
• Must meet qualifications for GS-13 grade level with experience in immigration enforcement, intelligence gathering, and case work.
• Language requirement: proficient in the Spanish language; firearms qualifications required.
