Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree in business, risk management or related fields, and roughly 9 years in property/casualty claims; AIC or similar designations are preferred.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of property/casualty claims experience.
• Professional designation (AIC) preferred.
• Litigated bodily injury claims experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage a large inventory of complex bodily injury claims.
• Investigate coverage, liability, and damages for claims.
• Negotiate settlements and reserves within authority.
• Communicate clearly with insureds, claimants, and partners.
• Authorize payments and maintain detailed files.
• Coach staff and participate in talent decisions when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
