Job summary

Axiado is redefining AI infrastructure security with BMC software for trusted hardware. We build firmware and software to manage power, sensors, and secure operation of the TCU platform.

Join a fast-growing team headquartered in Silicon Valley and contribute to scalable security across AI servers. We seek a hands-on engineer with 5+ years of C++ in Linux, strong BMC and IPMI knowledge, hardware debugging skills, and experience porting BMC to multiple hardware platforms.

Qualifications

• BMC software experience is a must.
• Strong server power management via BMC is required.
• 5+ years of C++ development in Linux applications with solid design and tracing.
• Hardware debugging skills are required.
• Strong knowledge of low-level protocols: I2C, PMBUS, SPI, UART, JTAG, GPIO.
• Knowledge of IPMI2.0 (IPMI Messaging, SDR, SEL, FRU, SOL, IPMB, LAN, KCS, PEF, ME, NM, PECI).
• Experience with MCTP and PLDM.
• Experience porting BMC to multiple HW.
• Nice-to-have AMI SPX/OneTree product experience.
• Experience with DCSCM card is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain BMC software solutions for our products (sensor monitor, event log WebUI).
• Implement firmware functions to communicate with peripherals via SPI, I2C, UART per protocol specifications and chipset datasheet.
• Perform code reviews, unit testing, and debugging to ensure high quality BMC software.
• Develop and maintain documentation, including design specifications, user manuals, and release notes.

• Design, develop, and maintain BMC software solutions for our products. Like sensor monitor,event log WebUI etc.

• Good understanding of server power management via BMC is a must
• Must have 5+ years experience in C++ coding in linux application, including well design concepts and code tracing skill.
• Hardware debugging skill is must.
• Solid Knowledge of low-level protocol, including I2C, PMBUS, SPI, UART, JTAG, GPIO.
• Good understanding of BMC IPMI2.0 including IPMI Messaging, SDR, SEL, FRU, SOL, IPMB, LAN, KCS, event log, PEF, ME, NM, PECI.
• Must have worked on MCTP and PLDM
• Experience in porting BMC to multiple HW.
• Experience with AMI SPX/OneTree product is preferred
• Good to have worked on DCSCM card.
