Job summary
Apple seeks a Senior Bluetooth Systems Performance Architect in San Diego within the Wireless Technologies & Ecosystems group. You will drive optimization of software design for next-gen Apple products including iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, AirPods, and Mac, collaborating with top engineers to deliver high-performance wireless systems.
You will join the Connectivity Firmware Performance team to develop testing methodologies, analyze logs, and propose software optimizations grounded in system-level
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in WiFi, BT or other Wireless Technologies.
- Background or research experience in RF, Digital, and Wireless communications.
- Programming in C or C++.
- Experience with wireless sniffers and protocol analyzers to debug and root cause issues.
- Experience with Python and Matlab for testing, data analysis and visualization.
- Proficient in Python with data science libraries for data manipulation and analysis.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Responsibilities
- Drive optimization of software design for Apple products.
- Devise performance evaluation methodologies on SW/HW prototypes.
- Analyze logs and make recommendations based on trade-off analysis at a system level.
- Work from prototypes through productization to optimize wireless performance.
