Madrigal Pharmaceuticals in Conshohocken seeks a Senior Biostatistician to support statistical activities in clinical development. The role is ideal for those with a Ph.D. in statistics or related fields and offers a chance to work collaboratively across teams.
Responsibilities include executing statistical models and performing analyses to meet R&D objectives. Competitive salary ranges from $146,700 to $179,300 annually, alongside comprehensive benefits.
Madrigal is a biopharmaceutical company focused on delivering novel therapeutics for metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH), a serious liver disease that can progress to cirrhosis, liver failure, need for liver transplantation and premature mortality. Every member of our Madrigal team is connected by our shared purpose: leading the fight against MASH.
Madrigal’s medication, Rezdiffra (resmetirom), is a once‑daily, oral, liver‑directed THR‑β agonist designed to target key underlying causes of MASH. Rezdiffra is the first and only medication approved by both the FDA and European Commission for the treatment of MASH with moderate to advanced fibrosis (F2 to F3). An ongoing Phase 3 outcomes trial is evaluating Rezdiffra for the treatment of compensated MASH cirrhosis (F4c).
The Senior Biostatistician is an early‑career individual contributor who will support multiple biostatistical activities across all phases of clinical development and post‑marketing efforts. This role collaborates with other biostatisticians, programmers and cross‑functional team members—either within the company or at a CRO partner—to ensure Madrigal’s analytical objectives are met. The incumbent will translate organizational objectives into statistical deliverables, execute statistical strategies, and produce high‑quality analytical outputs under senior statistical guidance. The position reports to the VP of Biostatistics.
