Job summary

Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our Engineering team in Troy, NY, supporting our CMO network. You will design, specify, and commission biopharmaceutical process and clean utility equipment, renovate systems, and provide engineering support at contract facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Biochemical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in project/process engineering with biopharma context.
• Direct experience with biopharmaceutical process equipment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of process control systems and automation.
• Experience planning and tracking project activities and schedules.
• Ability to lead without direct authority and work across cultures.

Responsibilities

• Design and specify cGMP process equipment, piping, and controls; develop PFDs/PDs.
• Manage small-to-mid sized projects including start-up and commissioning.
• Lead design review, site acceptance, and installation of equipment.
• Prepare P&IDs and process diagrams for manufacturing processes.
• Support QA/Validation by preparing design documents and protocols.
• Investigate equipment and control system issues; implement corrective actions.
• Prepare and execute change controls; document evaluations and tests.
• Supervise mechanical, electrical, and automation contractors.
• Procure equipment and services; negotiate with suppliers.
• Provide engineering support for equipment at CMOs.
