Nike, Inc. is seeking a Senior Researcher to plan and execute applied biomechanics research focused on performance and protection in sport.

You will analyze data from lab and field studies, and from wearables, surveys, and digital platforms to generate actionable insights for Nike products and athlete experiences. You will build scalable data pipelines, apply robust statistics, and communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in biomechanics or related field.
• 3+ years of research experience with human or athlete data.
• Strong knowledge of biomechanics, experimental design, statistics, and movement data.
• Experience with human movement technologies and wearables.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL; Databricks experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze biomechanical and movement data across lab, field, and remote studies.
• Build and maintain data pipelines and analysis workflows in Python/Databricks.
• Apply statistical methods to study design and interpretation of results.
• Present insights via reports and visualizations for product innovation.
• Collaborate across researchers, data science, engineering, and product teams.
