Job summary

Fate Therapeutics in San Diego, CA, seeks a Senior Manager, Biomarker Operations to lead day-to-day biomarker sample operations across clinical studies, partnering with Translational and Clinical teams to design innovative biospecimen strategies and ensure quality and regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates hold an MS+ with 3+ years in biomarker ops (or a BS+5+), have CRO/LIMS experience, and excel at cross-functional collaboration. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• MS or higher in biomarker operations or related field.
• Experience leading biomarker operations across clinical studies.
• Familiarity with CROs and central labs (LIMS a plus).

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day biomarker sample operations for clinical studies, including sample logistics and issue resolution.
• Partner with Translational and Clinical teams to design innovative biospecimen collection approaches.
• Manage CROs and external laboratories to ensure deliverables meet study specs and timelines.
