Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation in Nespelem, WA seeks a Biologist II-Senior to lead the CJKEP in the Fish and Wildlife division. The role includes staff supervision, protocol development, data collection and reporting to meet project deadlines.

You will conduct redd surveys, habitat assessments, electrofishing, water quality studies and genetic research, manage equipment, procure supplies, and coordinate with outside agencies and regional stakeholders.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree with 3 years related fish management/research experience OR Master’s degree with 1 year related experience; transcripts required.
• Senior Biologist requires a Master’s degree with 3 years or a Bachelor’s with 5 years in the field; transcripts required.

Aufgaben

• Lead CJKEP objectives within Fish and Wildlife; supervise staff and coordinate deadlines.
• Develop research protocols, purchase supplies, collect data and ensure data quality.
• Conduct redd and habitat surveys, electrofishing, gillnetting, telemetry, and water quality studies.
• Maintain equipment, order supplies, and liaise with outside agencies and regional meetings.
