Job summary

Xaira Therapeutics, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Manager, Biologics R&D to lead execution for a lead T-cell engager program, spanning late-stage research to IND-enabling studies.

You’ll partner with the Program Team Lead to own timelines, budgets, and risk management, driving decision-ready data with science leads to keep the program advancing. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on biologics R&D project management experience, independently moving programs forward in a fast-paced biotech

Qualifications

• Advanced degree (MS, PhD) in life sciences or related field.
• 6+ years in biologics R&D with 3+ years in project or program management.
• Experience managing antibody or protein therapeutics projects through IND-enabling studies.
• Fluency in biologics R&D processes including nonclinical, CMC, and regulatory components.
• Experience with CROs/CDMOs.
• Experience with T-cell engagers or immuno-oncology biologics preferred.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management; PMI/PMBOK familiarity; PMP/CAPM a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day planning and execution across late-stage research to IND-enabling work.
• Build and maintain program timelines with critical path, milestones, dependencies.
• Coordinate with scientific leads to align scope, resources and progress.
• Define milestones and decisional experiments and translate into actionable timelines.
• Prepare decision packages and baselined plan adherence.
• Coordinate with CROs/CDMOs and manage outsourced workstreams.
• Monitor risks, budgets, and provide updates; maintain risk register.
• Run cross-functional meetings with clear agendas and follow-ups.
• Track interdependencies and resolve conflicts across workstreams.
• Develop scenario plans for critical path and contingency investments.
• Ensure on-site SSF office; remote candidates not considered.
