Job summary

Kairos Power in Alameda, CA is seeking a BIM Senior Engineer I, Civil Structures with deep Revit expertise to lead the BIM implementation across civil projects. You will establish standards, manage BEPs, and ensure data-rich Revit models drive design and construction while integrating Civil 3D, Navisworks, and InfraWorks workflows.

You will mentor a team of BIM coordinators, oversee clash detection, and advance digital delivery practices in a fast-paced, regulatory environment, including

Qualifications

• Expert-level proficiency in Autodesk Revit Structure.
• Experience with Autodesk Navisworks for coordination.
• Portfolio of complex BIM projects in civil structures.
• Experience in nuclear or regulated environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain BIM strategy for civil structures.
• Lead BIM standards and BEPs including LOD and collaboration.
• Manage CDE and ensure Revit data is central to projects.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams using federated models.
• Lead clash detection and meetings with Navisworks.
• Mentor BIM coordinators and modelers.
• Develop reusable families library for civil elements.
• Deliver 2D/3D layout drawings and reports.
