Job summary

Bennett & Pless, Inc. is seeking a Senior BIM Technician for our Dallas, TX office. You will model and detail complex framing systems, ensuring accuracy of BIM models and contract drawings.

You may work independently or with a team to meet internal and client design standards. The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in construction or structural engineering, with proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM360 and Navisworks, plus a solid understanding of building codes.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Engineering Technology is required.
• 5+ years of experience in the construction or structural engineering industry.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, BIM360 and Navisworks is required.
• Basic knowledge of commercial building codes and structural design code references.

Responsibilities

• Ensure BIM model accuracy and contract drawings.
• Assist BIM Manager in updating drawing standards and templates.
• Perform self-checks to ensure submittals meet project and client standards.
• Provide modeling or detailing support for projects across offices as needed.
