Job summary

Latham & Watkins in San Diego is seeking a Senior Specialist – Revenue Operations to join our Revenue Operations team. You will coordinate billing activities, prepare and analyze complex client invoices, and ensure compliance with firm policies and regulatory requirements.

The role requires at least three years of relevant experience in a legal, accounting, or finance setting, plus strong communication and technology skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with billing software such as 3E.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum three years of relevant experience in a legal, accounting, or finance setting.
• Experience using billing software and financial systems.

Responsibilities

• Create, edit, and finalize bills per firm/client directives.
• Prepare and finalize invoices in line with regulations (VAT, money-laundering rules).
• Ensure delivery of invoices and resolve rejections or reductions.
• Generate proformas from 3E for billing purposes.
• Protect confidential and sensitive information.

About the Role

The Senior Specialist – Revenue Operations is an integral part of Latham’s Revenue Operations team. This role will be responsible for coordinating the activities of the billing process and performing complex billing duties, while preparing and analyzing complex client billing requests. This role will be located in our San Diegooffice. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Other key responsibilities include:

• Creating, editing, and finalizing bills in accordance with firm and client requirements and billing attorney directives, reviewing proformas, handling subsequent corrections, and coordinating e‑billing
• Preparing and finalizing invoices in line with internal and external regulation and legislation, including Value‑Added Tax (VAT), Criminal Finances Act Solicitors’ Accounts Rules, and money laundering regulations, as applicable
• Ensuring successful delivery of invoices and coordinating with revenue and e‑billing teams for submission, and helping resolve rejections and reductions
• Generating and reviewing proformas from 3E for informational and billing purposes
• Utilizing computerized billing and payable software modules to complete the billing process and client refunds, and researching and providing information to customers
• Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains

• Exhibit demonstrated strong technology skills, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

And have:

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably
• A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in a legal, accounting, finance, or equivalent industry, preferably
• Experience using financial systems, preferably

Pay Range

USD $80,000.00 - USD $100,000.00 /Yr.
