Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in wealth management, RIA, or financial services.
• Experience in billing, accounts receivable, or portfolio accounting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with portfolio accounting systems such as Orion or Addepar.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate client setup in the firm's portfolio accounting systems.
• Manage and execute accurate, timely quarterly billing runs, including facilitating billing processes across major custodians.
• Resolve billing issues and handle ad hoc billing requests with sound judgment.
• Prepare and distribute client billing with precision.
• Partner with Accounts Receivable to ensure accuracy across all billing and payments.
• Collaborate across Billing, Finance, and Operations teams to drive meaningful process improvements.

Cerity Partners is seeking a talented and motivated individual with the highest level of personal integrity to join our Billing & Revenue Recognition Team. Candidates living within commuting distance of a Cerity Partners office will have the opportunity to work on-site, building relationships, collaborating directly with colleagues, and benefiting from in-person mentorship. This role offers remote work potential for candidates who do not live within a commutable distance of an office.

In this role, you'll prepare, execute, and manage critical client billing functions in a collaborative, fast-paced environment where your work directly supports the accuracy and integrity of our client relationships. The ideal candidate brings impeccable attention to detail, strong communication skills, and proven analytical and financial experience to a high-visibility function within the firm.

Primary Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate client setup in the firm's portfolio accounting systems

Required Credentials

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related business field
• 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred, with experience in wealth management, RIA, financial services, investment operations, billing, accounts receivable, portfolio accounting, reconciliation, or a related finance or operations environment
• Previous operations or finance experience, including billing, account opening, or reconciliation
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Experience working with portfolio accounting systems such as Orion or Addepar
• Highly detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• A self-starter who identifies with Cerity Partners' mission and embodies our core values

Compensation Range

• $80,000 - $110,000
