Job summary

Baker Donelson in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a Billing Manager to lead the Billing Team and oversee all billing operations within the revenue cycle. You will ensure accurate, timely client invoices and resolve complex billing issues in collaboration with attorneys and administrative departments.

Reporting to the Director of Revenue Services, you will mentor staff, monitor workloads, and maintain billing controls while driving operational excellence and client service across the firm.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of billing functions and legal billing cycles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly proficient in Excel.
• Experience with Aderant and Prebill Viewer.
• Previous law firm billing management experience.

Responsibilities

• Motivate, mentor, and provide leadership to the Billing team, including controls for quality and integrity of billing processes.
• Monitor workload distribution and overtime, identify efficiency improvements with the Director of Revenue Services.
• Maintain hands-on knowledge of all billing functions to provide training, back-up, and support.
