Job summary

Gallagher is seeking a Senior Billing Integration Consultant in Rolling Meadows, IL, to lead billing integrations and M&A-related initiatives. You will drive accuracy, efficiency, and cross-functional collaboration across finance and IT to optimize invoicing quality.

Ideal candidates bring extensive billing experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.
• Expert understanding of billing processes and best practices.
• Highly proficient in billing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Able to travel.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in billing, finance, or a related area, focusing on complex billing operations.

Responsibilities

• Act as the lead subject-matter expert for mergers & acquisitions and other integrations, serving as the primary representative of the billing team.
• Evaluate and refine billing processes to enhance accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Address and resolve complex, large-scale billing issues by delivering expert solutions.
• Partner with finance, IT, and other departments to drive improvements in billing system functionality.
• Provide strategic recommendations to optimize billing operations and minimize errors.

How you'll make an impact

The Senior Billing Integration Consultant will be instrumental in evaluating and enhancing billing processes while providing expert guidance to billing leaders, branch partners, and the mergers and acquisitions team. This role focuses on addressing complex and large-scale billing challenges, collaborating across departments, and implementing effective processes to ensure accurate and compliant invoicing that meets or exceeds branch expectations.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive billing expertise, strong analytical capabilities, and experience in mergers and acquisitions, along with the ability to operate with a high level of autonomy. A key aspect of this position is fostering trust and confidence in the billing team's services by building and maintaining strong relationships with branch partners.
