Job ID: 10588005 | Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc.
We are looking for a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer to drive the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and automation in analytics, powering executive-level decision making for AWS Platform Experience (PLEX). The Platform Experience Business Intelligence & Analytics (PLEX BIA) team serves as the central hub for transforming the data into trusted business insights. We build and manage scalable analytics infrastructure, standardized metrics, dashboards, and automated reporting that support decision-making across Billing, Fraud Prevention, Payment and Order to Cash systems. We've already shown that governed, AI-powered self-service analytics works: our generative AI insights agent answers business questions for hundreds of users and has saved thousands of hours of manual work. Our next goal is to go from answering questions to investigating them. That means proactive, agent-driven analytics that explain why a metric moved and what to do about it. As a Senior BIE, you'll be a technical leader for that work. You'll own end-to-end Business Intelligence (BI) solutions in complex, ambiguous areas, set the engineering standards others follow, and work with Data Engineers, Applied Scientists, Finance and business leaders. You'll turn open-ended questions into insight leaders can trust and act on, and your work will directly shape decisions in Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs) and revenue assurance.
