Job summary

Capgemini in Phoenix, AZ seeks a BI ETL Test Engineer to design, develop, and execute test strategies for BI, ETL, and data warehouse solutions, ensuring data quality and reliability across source-to-target mappings.

You will validate ETL processes with Informatica PowerCenter, IICS/IDMC, apply SQL validation, data lineage checks, and collaborate with ETL developers and data engineers in an Agile environment to deliver robust data platforms.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in ETL Testing, BI Testing, Data Warehouse Testing, or Data Quality Assurance.
• Hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter, IICS, or Informatica IDMC.
• Advanced SQL skills for complex data analysis and validation.
• Experience testing large-scale data warehouse and BI environments.
• Knowledge of data governance, metadata management, and data lineage.
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.
• Agile/Scrum experience in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test strategies and plans for BI/ETL/data warehouse solutions.
• Validate source-to-target mappings, transformations, and reporting layer accuracy.
• Conduct ETL testing for Informatica PowerCenter/IICS/IDMC and validate data extraction/loading.
• Verify data lineage and data movement across systems to meet governance standards.
• Collaborate with analysts, architects, developers, and stakeholders to ensure delivery.
• Create and maintain test artifacts: test cases, scripts, SQL validation, and defect logs.
