Job summary

GCS Recruitment Specialists is seeking a Senior BI Engineer to own the manufacturing reporting layer and build scalable Amazon QuickSight dashboards. You will validate metrics with operations, redesign datasets, and collaborate with data and software engineers to deliver trusted, automated reporting across the business.

You will work with Athena, Redshift, S3, Glue, and PySpark to reconcile data sources, implement calendar, utilization, throughput, and cycle-time metrics, and create self-serve

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in BI, analytics engineering, or data engineering.
Ownership of the end-to-end reporting layer from source to dashboards.
Strong SQL with complex joins, window functions, and performance tuning.
Hands-on experience with Amazon QuickSight (SPICE, calculated fields, row-level security).
Experience with AWS data platforms (Athena, Redshift, S3, Glue) and PySpark.

Responsibilities

Assess existing reporting workflows and data sources across manufacturing.
Validate KPIs and metrics with operations stakeholders.
Rebuild and optimize the reporting layer from source tables through dashboards.
Develop and automate WBR/MBR dashboards using Amazon QuickSight.
Collaborate with data engineering and software teams on data validation and automation.
