Humana Inc. is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer to solve complex business problems with data from internal and external sources, delivering insight to decision-makers.

This remote role may require travel to Humana offices for training or meetings. The position requires a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of data analysis experience (or a Master’s with 3+ years), strong Office skills, and expertise with large datasets, data visualization tools (Tableau/Qlik), and healthcare data

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of technical experience in data analysis OR Master's degree and 3+ years of experience
• Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications including Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint
• Advanced experience working with big and complex data sets within large organizations
• Experience analyzing data to solve a wide variety of business problems and create data visualizations that drive strategic direction
• Proficiency in understanding Healthcare related data
• Proficiency in verbal and written communication to senior and executive leadership
• Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Responsibilities

• Solve complex business problems using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers
• Describe the tools, technologies, applications and practices used to collect, integrate, analyze, and present raw data to create insightful information
• Begin to influence department strategy and make decisions on moderately to complex issues regarding technical approach
