Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Commercial Services LLC is hiring a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer for the North America Consumer team. You will lead analytics across the subscriber lifecycle, size addressable segments with geospatial models, and build forecasting frameworks to set growth targets.

You’ll own analytics on customer experience, churn drivers, and retention levers, driving insights that boost long-term value.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of SQL experience.
• 1+ years of SQL, ETL or Oracle experience.
• 1+ years of processing large, multi-dimensional datasets from multiple sources experience.
• 1+ years of performing statistical analysis experience.
• 1+ years of developing automated reporting experience.
• 4+ years of experience as a Data Analyst/BI Analyst/Data Engineer or related role.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in CS/Engineering/Math/Statistics/Economics or related field.
• Experience programming to extract, transform and clean large (multi-TB) data sets.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large data sets to identify patterns and generate insights across the full customer lifecycle.
• Build geospatial models to size addressable segments and inform acquisition strategy.
• Analyze retention and churn patterns to quantify lifecycle value by segment.
• Design forecasting frameworks linking acquisition targets to retention outcomes.
• Quantify the impact of promotions and marketing investments through experimentation and causal inference.
• Write queries to extract data and insights combining Amazon Leo datasets with public data.
• Create automated reporting, dashboards, and recurrent analyses to support data-driven decisions.
• Identify opportunities for automation to accelerate insight generation across acquisition and retention workflows.
• Analyze and visualize large geo-spatial data to drive subscriber growth and retention strategies.
• Deliver comprehensive strategy documents for stakeholders.
