Job summary

Sigma Inc is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Developer to lead complex BI projects in Irving, TX. You will own the design, development, and optimization of BI solutions, build scalable data models, and create real-time dashboards to track KPIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, BI, or related field is required.
• Master's degree preferred in related fields.
• Around 8 years of IT experience focused on BI, data modeling and analytics.
• Strong ETL design and development using SSIS, Talend, or similar tools.
• Advanced SQL/PLSQL and performance optimization; proficiency with BI platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own design, development, and optimization of BI solutions.
• Develop and maintain scalable BI solutions to support business objectives.
• Create complex data models and reporting structures for decision-making.
• Build real-time dashboards to track KPIs and operational performance.
• Write and optimize advanced SQL scripts for data manipulation and reporting.
• Collaborate with business units to translate analytical requirements into BI solutions.
• Perform deep-dive data analysis to uncover insights and trends.
• Enforce data governance, quality, and security best practices.
• Troubleshoot BI issues and mentor junior BI developers.
• Stay updated with emerging BI technologies and methodologies.
