Job summary

US Tech Solutions invites a Solutions Engineer specializing in BI, data modeling and data warehousing to design, create, and manage reports, dashboards, data models, and ETL processes for our Professional Services team.

The Solutions Engineer works with business users through the project lifecycle, integrating data from multiple sources and leveraging tools like Azure Data Factory, Power BI, and SSIS to deliver reliable datasets and scalable BI solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven experience in Data Engineering or a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in relational and dimensional data modeling techniques (Fact and Dimension tables).
• Advanced SQL skills, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with modern ETL tools (e.g. Azure Data Factory).
• Visualization proficiency with Power BI Desktop and paginated reports.

Responsibilities

• Design, create, and manage reports, dashboards, system integrations, data models, data warehouses, tools, SSIS packages, ETL processes and related systems used by customers and client’s Professional Services team.
• Work with business users throughout the project lifecycle, including requirements definition, prototyping, development, testing, deployment and support.
• Collaborate with Program Managers, Solutions Engineers, and stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver clean, reliable datasets.
• Monitor data loads, troubleshoot pipeline failures, and optimize SQL queries and ETL jobs for maximum performance.
