Global Channel Management is seeking a Business Intelligence Consultant in the United States to develop dashboards from scratch, build metrics, and create cubes/datasets using MicroStrategy. Qualifications

• 5+ years of MicroStrategy development experience and 2 years of customer facing experience
• SQL and Database experience with a major RDBMS (Teradata, Aster, Oracle, SQL Server, etc) - Select statements, different types of joins, common database functions, SQL statement debugging, stored procedures
• Capable with the Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint) and excellent oral and written communication

Responsibilities

• Develop new dashboards from scratch
• Build Metrics (Simple / Compound) – understand basic settings (Smart Total, Inner/Outer join, Dynamic aggregation)
• Build Cubes/Datasets
• Build Dashboard Objects/Panel stacks / panels – use as info views
• Grids / Graphs – formatting options and filtering
• Selectors – targeting (filter vs slice)
• Navigation and Links – drilling to other objects with performance in mind, utilize images in dashboards
