Job summary

GEICO is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst III/IV to design, develop, and support enterprise BI and visual analytics. You will transform data into meaningful reports, dashboards, semantic models, and analytical solutions using Power BI as the primary platform, with Apache Superset as needed.

You will partner with stakeholders, technology teams, and data engineering to deliver scalable reporting, establish standards, and translate analyses into clear recommendations in an agile environment.

Qualifications

• Advanced experience designing, developing, deploying, and supporting BI solutions using Power BI or comparable platforms.
• Strong proficiency with DAX, semantic modeling, data visualization, and enterprise BI architecture.
• Experience publishing BI solutions via Workspaces, Apps, Deployment Pipelines, and semantic model refresh processes.
• Excellent SQL skills for complex queries and data extraction for reporting and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end BI solutions including semantic layers, data models, reports, dashboards, and scorecards.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize Power BI semantic models, reports, dashboards, and analytical solutions using DAX and Power Query.
• Apply advanced analytics to identify trends, performance drivers, and opportunities for operational improvement.
• Translate descriptive reporting into diagnostic and predictive insights and communicate actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, data engineering, and technology partners to ensure data reliability and usability.
• Establish semantic modeling standards and reusable design patterns; support report certification and governance.
• Publish and support Power BI solutions through Power BI Service and related platforms; optimize performance.
