Job summary

Taylor Hopkinson | Powered by Brunel in Jacksonville, Florida is seeking a seasoned BESS Installation & Commissioning Engineer to lead deployment, installation, and commissioning of large-scale energy storage projects across the Americas.

You will develop I&C processes, work instructions, and project plans; coordinate field teams and Subcontractors; and partner with Project Management, Sourcing, Quality and Safety to deliver safely, on time, and within budget while driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
10+ years of engineering experience in installation and commissioning.
Experience leading technical teams and field personnel.
Experience with BESS technologies.
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate field teams performing BESS installation and commissioning.
Develop commissioning plans for new BESS projects across the Americas.
Develop I&C procedures, work instructions, training materials, and safety requirements.
Select and qualify subcontractors in partnership with Sourcing and Legal.
Provide field feedback to Quality and Engineering teams to drive improvements.
Serve as the senior technical resource for I&C and promote Safety First culture.
