Job summary

BDO USA, P.C. seeks a Senior Benefits Manager to lead the design, implementation and ongoing management of the firm’s benefits and LOA programs.

You will partner with the Director of Benefits to deliver innovative, cost-effective Total Rewards solutions that attract and retain top talent in a competitive market. Responsibility includes managing enrollment, COBRA and retiree plans, vendor performance, and compliance with ERISA, COBRA, ACA and state/local leave laws.

Qualifications

• Five (5) or more years of HR experience in Benefits.
• Strong working knowledge of HR policies and practices.
• Understanding of ERISA, COBRA, ACA, FMLA and related laws.

Responsibilities

• Manage the firm’s benefits and LOA program in collaboration with the Director of Benefits.
• Advise stakeholders on benefits strategy and compliance.
• Benchmark and design new benefit and leave programs within budget.
• Oversee enrollment cycles, COBRA and retiree health plans.
• Coordinate with finance and third-party vendors to ensure accurate deductions and payments.
