Job summary

Florida Department of Juvenile Justice is seeking a Senior Behavioral Analyst to oversee mental health, substance abuse and developmental disability services in DJJ facilities. This role provides on-site guidance, training and technical support to regional staff and facility administrators.

Applicants should hold a doctoral or master’s degree in psychology or related field, be licensed as a psychologist or MH professional, and have at least two years of clinical experience with youth.

Qualifications

• A doctoral or master's degree in psychology, counseling, or clinical social work is required.
• Must be licensed as a psychologist or as mental health professional (counselor, social worker, or marriage and family therapist).
• Two years of clinical experience in mental health and substance abuse services for youth; travel across the state to DJJ facilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee mental health, substance abuse, and developmental disability services in Central Region Detention Centers.
• Provide on-site training and technical assistance to staff on mental health and substance abuse services.
• Develop, implement, and manage corrective action plans and ensure compliance with Quality Improvement Standards.
