Job summary

Center for Applied Behavior Analysis, LLC (CABA) in California is seeking a Senior Behavior Technician to provide direct support across service lines, mentor junior staff, and assist BCBAs with assessments and data. You’ll observe sessions, deliver feedback, and help maintain clinical standards in a hands‑on setting.

Required are an active RBT certification, a Bachelor’s degree, 3+ years’ experience with individuals with severe behavior, and a CA driver’s license.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Active RBT certification required.
  • 3+ years of experience with individuals with severe challenging behavior.
  • Experience with adults/adolescents with developmental disabilities and co-occurring mental health diagnoses.
  • CPR and CPI certification required; support for certification if needed.
  • Valid California driver’s license, registration, and proof of insurance.
  • Must pass TB clearance and FBI/DOJ background check.
  • Three professional and two personal references.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct support across CABA service lines with clinical exposure.
  • Mentor, train, and support BTs and junior staff.
  • Observe sessions, assess performance, and give real feedback.
  • Support BCBAs with assessments, data graphing, and reports.
  • Collect treatment fidelity and interobserver data.
  • Serve as a liaison between clinical leadership and frontline staff.
  • Conduct RBT evaluations and ongoing training.
  • Write incident reports and progress notes per standards.

  • Provide direct support across CABA service lines, includingSpecialized Behavior Services and our Adaptive Skills Program

  • Mentor, train, and support BTs and junior clinical staff

  • Observe sessions, assess performance, and give real feedback that makes people better

  • Support BCBAs with assessments, data graphing, report writing, and client intake

  • Collect treatment fidelity and interobserver agreement data

  • Serve as a liaison between clinical leadership and frontline staff

  • Conduct RBT evaluations and ongoing training

  • Write incident reports and progress notes per CABA and funding source standards

  • Model the clinical and professional standards CABA is known for

Physical Requirements

This is active, hands-on work. You should be comfortable sitting on the floor, moving quickly, and providing physical support to clients when needed.This role requires the ability tolift upto 50 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods.Reasonableaccommodationswill be made for qualified individuals with disabilities.
