Job summary

SpringHealth is seeking a Behavior Clinician Level 2 in Macon, GA for a part-time role providing behavioral health services to individuals with developmental disabilities and behavioral challenges.

The role involves conducting assessments, implementing Behavior Intervention Plans, coordinating home and community visits, and maintaining records. Remote work is possible when not in session. A Master's degree in a relevant field and 2+ years' experience are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a Master's Degree in Human Services, ABA, Psychology, or related field with master-level ABA coursework.
• Experience with written Behavior Plans is required.
• Experience with behavioral intervention and/or learning/developmental psychology.
• Two or more years of experience with individuals with developmental disabilities or behaviorally challenged population.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to perform physical tasks (standing, bending, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Conducts ongoing assessments to meet the needs of patients served.
• Communicates progress with supervisors, family members, guardians, and collateral individuals.
• Provides a monthly schedule of appointments, home visits, and observations.
• Coordinates home, work and community-based visits for observations, chart reviews, staff interviews, and data analysis.
• Ensures the Behavior Intervention Plan is implemented effectively.
• Participates in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings and other pertinent meetings.
• Completes monthly and/or quarterly progress notes.
• Organizes training to certify staff in BSP implementation and documentation.
• Provides follow-up interviews, home visits, and observations for continued support.
• Maintains strong clinical records for easy access by interested parties.
• Liaises with the public and mental health community to support goals.
• Assists in creating procedures for training materials to improve programs.
• Completes continued education on behaviorally based interventions to stay current.
