Job summary

Kaygen, Inc. is seeking an experienced Process Engineer to support battery, electronics, or chemical manufacturing equipment projects. You will plan production readiness, procure, validate, install, run pre-production trials and launch processes.

The role requires CAD proficiency (AutoCAD, CATIA, Creo), lean methods, capital project leadership, and the ability to travel up to 25%. Prior experience in manufacturing is essential; fresh graduates will not be considered.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field; 5+ years of engineering experience.
Experience with production preparation of Battery, Electronics or Chemical manufacturing equipment, including procurement, validation, installation, pre-production trials and launch (3 years Required, 5 years Preferred).
Experience creating process plans and machine specifications using lean manufacturing principles.
Experience leading capital projects, including creating and maintaining detailed schedules, budgetary control, and KPI-based progress reporting (3 years Required, 5 years Preferred).
Experience with AutoCAD, CATIA, Creo or similar, including the ability to read and interpret and modify 2D and 3D technical drawings.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint. (intermediate or above)
Ability to business travel, both domestic and international, up to 25%.
Ability to work weekends and shutdowns such as July and December.
