Job summary

A leading energy technology firm in Waltham is seeking an experienced engineer to design and develop pilot scale processes for manufacturing solid state battery cells. The successful candidate will have an advanced degree in mechanical or chemical engineering, along with over 5 years of experience in cell fabrication. Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a cell fabrication role in a Li-ion battery industrial environment.
• Experience with all-solid-state-battery development is strongly preferred.
• Ability to work safely and in compliance with all regulations and quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop pilot scale processes for manufacturing solid state battery cells.
• Assemble battery cells using notching, stacking, welding, and packaging processes.
• Maintain, modify, and optimize the equipment and tools with vendor’s guidelines.
