This senior leadership role owns the CAE strategy and automation roadmap, mentoring engineers and partnering with cross‑functional teams to ensure designs meet performance and reliability targets.
The ideal candidate has deep expertise in FEA-based analysis and a track record building
Qualifications
- PhD or MS in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- 15+ years in structural, fatigue, and durability CAE analysis in automotive or battery systems.
- Expert in FEA tools ABAQUS, NASTRAN, LS-DYNA, and related CAE software.
- Experience developing CAE automation tools and standard processes.
- Experience scripting for CAE automation (Python, C/C++, Tcl/Tk, etc.).
Responsibilities
- Lead CAE analysis for battery module and pack structures.
- Define CAE strategy and technology roadmap.
- Develop automated workflows to improve quality and repeatability.
- Apply DOE and AI/ML to design optimization.
- Mentor CAE engineers and present results to leadership.
- Evaluate CAE software platforms and tools.
