Job summary

Abbott’s Altavista, VA location seeks a Sr Coordinator Batch Records to maintain batch correction data and support QA with compliance to FDA/IFRegulations. The role handles inventory adjustments, batch re-releases, sampling coordination, and customer complaint support, ensuring accurate records and regulatory adherence.

The position requires a high school diploma (Bachelor’s preferred) and provides opportunities in a global nutrition supply chain environment with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of manufacturing processes including Analytical, Processing, Filling; familiarity with FDA/IFA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain database and records of batch corrections.
• Perform monthly corrections data trend analysis.
• Use CAMBAR/AMAPS to adjust inventory and perform batch re-release.
• Coordinate batch segregation and Quality Hold; verify onsite destruct and reconcile off-site destructs.
• Coordinate batch samplings, and re-processing following Deviation/Investigation/Batch Work Order requirements.
• Assist and backup Coordinator of Customer Complaints; train new employees as needed.
• Coordinate, pull, and ship library samples per schedule.
